Do I need prior expert witness experience?

No. Many of our physicians are new to expert witness work. Our training program is designed specifically for clinicians entering the legal space for the first time. We prepare you fully before your first case.

How much time does it actually take?

It depends on the engagement type. A case record review might take 3–6 hours. A full written report could take 8–15 hours. Depositions are typically half or full day. You control which engagements you accept.

Will this affect my clinical practice or hospital privileges?

Generally no. Expert witness work is widely accepted in the medical community. We recommend reviewing your hospital's conflict of interest policy, and our team can provide guidance on how other physicians on our platform have navigated this.

What if I'm uncomfortable with a case?
